T4,T5,G3 EGR Valve Gasket - 1.9 TDI + 2.5 TDI

Exhaust Gas Recirculation is an emission control technology used on most types of modern petrol and diesel engines.

This technology reduces the exhaust emissions with the use of an EGR valve.  The EGR valve is designed to reduce the temperature of the exhaust gasses and by doing so reduces the production of NOx (Nitrogen Oxide).

Replacement gasket for the EGR valve on all T4 Transporters with the following engines:

1.9 Turbo Diesel engines (ABL Engine Codes) from October 1992 to June 2003

2.5 TDI Engines from September 1995 to June 2003

Also used on T5 Transporters with 1.9 Diesel engines.
