This replacement cylinder head gasket is designed for Volkswagen 1.6 diesel and turbo diesel engines and is manufactured to OE specifications, providing a reliable seal between the cylinder head and engine block. This is the 3-hole version, identified by the three notches (holes) on the edge of the gasket. Volkswagen used three different gasket thicknesses depending on piston projection after the engine was assembled. It is essential that the correct gasket is selected by measuring piston protrusion or by matching the original gasket removed from the engine.

Suitable for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged 1.6 diesel engines, this gasket is ideal for engine rebuilds, cylinder head replacement and routine engine repairs.

• 1 Hole – Piston projection 0.81–0.90mm – Gasket thickness 1.53mm
• 2 Hole – Piston projection 0.91–1.00mm – Gasket thickness 1.57mm
• 3 Hole – Piston projection 1.01–1.10mm – Gasket thickness 1.61mm

Always confirm piston projection or match the original gasket before ordering.
