T25,G2 Fuel Vapour Separator - 1900 Waterboxer (DG)

This high-quality fuel vapour separator is a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to 1.9 DG Waterboxer engines in the VW Type 25 (T3) from February 1985 onwards. Manufactured from durable PVC, it forms an important part of the vehicle`s fuel evaporation and breather system, helping to separate fuel vapour from liquid fuel before the vapours are returned to the engine for combustion.

The vapour separator prevents liquid fuel from entering the breather system while allowing fuel vapours to be safely recycled, reducing fuel odours, improving emissions and ensuring the engine`s fuel system operates correctly. Over time, the original separator can become brittle, crack or leak, resulting in fuel smells, vacuum leaks or poor running.

Replacing a damaged vapour separator helps restore the integrity of the fuel vapour recovery system and is recommended whenever fuel system components are being refurbished.

• Fuel breather hoses
• Vacuum hoses
• Hose clips
• Fuel filler neck hoses
• Charcoal canister and associated pipework (where fitted)

Replacing old hoses at the same time will help prevent future fuel vapour leaks.
