G3 Engine Breather Valve (Engine Block) - 1.6-2.0

Replacement crankcase breather valve assembly for Volkswagen 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 litre petrol engines.

This high-quality crankcase ventilation (PCV) breather valve fits to the front of the engine block and forms an important part of the engine`s crankcase ventilation system. It regulates crankcase pressure by allowing blow-by gases to be safely recirculated into the engine`s intake system, reducing emissions while helping prevent oil leaks and excessive pressure build-up inside the engine.

A worn or blocked breather valve can cause rough idling, oil leaks, excessive crankcase pressure, increased oil consumption and poor engine performance. Replacing the valve restores proper crankcase ventilation, helping maintain smooth engine operation and extending engine seal life.

Manufactured as a direct replacement for the original Volkswagen breather valve, this unit is suitable for a wide range of VW models fitted with 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 litre 8-valve petrol engines.
