US Spec Beetle EGR Filter - 1974-79 (AJ Injection System)

Replacement EGR filter for Volkswagen aircooled AJ fuel injected engines fitted to USA specification Beetles from August 1974 onwards. The EGR filter is part of the emissions control system and filters exhaust gases before they are recirculated back into the intake system through the EGR valve.

Over time, EGR filters can become blocked with carbon deposits, which can cause poor running, reduced engine efficiency and increased emissions. Replacing a blocked EGR filter helps restore proper EGR operation and engine performance.

This is a direct replacement EGR filter for vehicles originally fitted with the EGR emissions system.
