Replacement metal accelerator cable guide tube that fits through the fan shroud on Volkswagen aircooled Type 1 engines (1200cc–1600cc). This tube guides the accelerator cable through the fan shroud and keeps the cable aligned correctly between the chassis tube and the carburettor linkage.
A worn or missing guide tube can cause the accelerator cable to rub, fray, or stick, leading to poor throttle response or premature cable failure. Replacing the guide tube ensures smooth accelerator operation and proper cable alignment.
This is a direct replacement metal conduit designed to fit into the fan shroud in the original position.
