T5,G4 Intercooler Pressure Sensor - 2.5 TDI (AXD,AXE,BNZ,BPC)

This replacement thrust pressure sensor (also known as a boost pressure sensor or MAP sensor) is designed for Volkswagen Transporter T5 models fitted with 2.5 TDI diesel engines produced between 2003 and 2009.

The sensor is mounted on the charge air cooler (intercooler) and plays a vital role in monitoring the air pressure within the turbocharging system. It sends precise pressure data to the engine control unit (ECU), which adjusts fuel delivery and turbo boost to optimise performance, fuel economy, and emissions. A faulty sensor can cause poor acceleration, reduced power, or the illumination of the engine management light — making replacement essential for maintaining smooth engine operation.
