T4,T5,G3,G4 Fuel Pressure Regulator

This replacement 3 bar fuel pressure regulator is used on a wide range of Volkswagen petrol injection systems, including Mexico Beetle 1600i models, T3/T25, T4 and T5 Transporters, plus selected Golf, Corrado, Polo, Passat, Vento, Jetta, Caddy, Sharan and New Beetle applications. It is a hydraulic control valve that maintains fuel rail pressure at 3.0 bar (43.5 PSI), helping the injectors deliver the correct amount of fuel under different engine loads.

The regulator works by controlling excess fuel pressure and returning surplus fuel to the system, keeping pressure stable for smooth running, reliable starting and correct mixture control. A weak or failed regulator can cause hard starting, poor idle, rich running, hesitation, fuel smell, black smoke or uneven performance. Replacing it restores proper fuel pressure and helps the injection system work as intended.

This is a direct replacement for petrol engines using a 3 bar regulator and is especially suitable when diagnosing fuel pressure faults on injected VW models.

The fuel pressure regulator keeps the fuel system at a constant 3 bar pressure.
