T4,G2 Cylinder Head Water Flange - 1.6, 1.8, 2.0

This coolant flange fits to the front of the cylinder head and provides a key junction point in the cooling system. It allows coolant to pass between the engine and connected hoses while also providing mounting points for up to three coolant sensors or switch fittings. If the original flange becomes warped, cracked or brittle with age, it can lead to coolant leaks, poor sealing around the sensors, and cooling system faults. Replacing it helps restore a secure seal and reliable coolant flow.

This version includes the main O-ring seal and features 2 coolant hose connections and 3 sensor connections with 5 circuits. It is designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of classic and early watercooled VW models. On Corrado and Golf Mk1 Cabriolet applications you will also need 1 x 357121140. As this flange carries sensor fittings and blanking plugs, it is also worth replacing the small sealing O-rings at the same time; these are available separately under N90316802.
