G2 Fuel Pump - 1.0-1.3

This is a mechanical, sealed fuel pump designed for Volkswagen petrol engines up to 1.3 litres, providing reliable fuel delivery from the tank to the carburettor.

The pump is a sealed, non-rebuildable unit, supplied ready to fit as a complete replacement. It features 6 mm and 8 mm hose barbs, matching the original factory layout for direct connection to standard fuel lines.

The inlet and outlet pipe orientation can be changed by undoing the retaining bolts and rotating the top section, allowing correct hose routing to suit different vehicle installations.

A mounting seal is included, ensuring a proper seal to the engine block and preventing oil leaks during installation.

Mechanical fuel pumps can weaken over time due to internal wear, leading to poor fuel delivery, hesitation, or starting issues. Replacing the pump restores correct fuel flow and dependable engine operation.

Fitting notes: Check fuel hose condition, set the inlet and outlet orientation before final tightening, replace aged hose clips, prime the system after installation, and inspect carefully for leaks.
