Cylinder Head To Heat Exchanger Gasket - 1978-83 - Type 4 Engines - 2+3 Cylinder (Offset Holes)

This replacement cylinder head to heat exchanger gasket is for cylinders 2 and 3, which use offset mounting holes, on 2000cc Type 4 aircooled engines. It seals the joint between the cylinder head and heat exchanger, helping to eliminate exhaust leaks, restore proper heater performance, and prevent hot gases escaping into the engine bay.

Type 4 engines rely on correctly matched gaskets side-to-side. This version is shaped specifically for the right-hand side of the engine and must be paired with the correct left-side gasket to ensure a complete and reliable seal.
