228mm Clutch Kit - Type 4 Engines, Pre 1989 Waterboxer Engines - Top Quality

This Sachs 228mm clutch kit is a top-quality OEM-grade replacement for 2000cc aircooled Type 4 engines and early 1.9 & 2.1 Waterboxer engines fitted to Type 25 / T3 buses up to April 1989. Manufactured by Sachs, this kit delivers factory-correct pedal feel, smooth engagement, and excellent durability—ideal for campers, daily drivers, and long-distance touring.

Matched to the 228mm flywheel and 24-tooth input shaft, this kit is suitable for standard and mildly uprated engines. As VW used more than one clutch size during this period, some early Waterboxer engines were fitted with 215mm clutches—please confirm before ordering.
