2413cc Barrel And Piston Kit - 104mm Big Bore Type 4 Engines

This 104mm big bore barrel and piston kit is designed for 2000cc aircooled Type 4 engines, increasing displacement to a serious 2413cc. It’s aimed at high-performance builds where maximum torque and power are required, while still retaining the robust Type 4 architecture.

Unlike smaller big-bore kits, crankcase machining is required to install this setup. This allows the larger barrels to seat correctly and safely in the case.

The pistons feature valve cut-outs, providing essential clearance when running high-lift or performance camshafts, making this kit suitable for fast-road, competition, or heavy camper applications. Supplied as a complete matched set, it’s an ideal foundation for a serious Type 4 performance engine.
