T25,T4,G1,G2,G3,G4 Exhaust Manifold Gasket

This metal exhaust manifold gasket seals the joint between the cylinder head and exhaust manifold on a wide range of classic and modern Volkswagen petrol and diesel engines. Its primary function is to ensure a gas-tight seal, allowing exhaust gases to exit the engine cleanly while preventing leaks that can cause noise, loss of performance, excessive heat in the engine bay, or damage to nearby components.

Manufactured from heat-resistant multi-layer metal, this gasket is designed to withstand extreme exhaust temperatures and constant heat cycling without blowing out or deforming. A sound exhaust manifold seal is especially important on turbocharged diesel engines, where exhaust pressure is higher and any leak can affect turbo response and efficiency.

This gasket is supplied individually, as required by many VW engines that use one gasket per exhaust port or section of the manifold. Always replace exhaust manifold gaskets when removing the manifold, and check the manifold and cylinder head faces for warping before refitting.
