This rocker cover gasket is a direct replacement for Volkswagen 1.9 Diesel (D) and 1.9 Turbo Diesel (TD) engines, designed to seal the joint between the cylinder head and the rocker (valve) cover. Its primary job is to prevent engine oil leaks while keeping contaminants out of the valvetrain area.
