Type 4 Con Rod Bearing Set - 1700cc, 1800cc (Standard)

This complete connecting rod (big end) bearing set is designed for Volkswagen Type 4 air-cooled engines in 1700cc and 1800cc capacities, as fitted to Baywindow Buses from 1972 to 1975. It is also suitable for Porsche 914 models using equivalent Type 4 engines.

Connecting rod bearings form the critical interface between the crankshaft journals and the connecting rods. They provide a precision bearing surface that supports high engine loads while allowing smooth crankshaft rotation.
