G3 Rocker Cover Gasket - 2.8 VR6 (AAA), 2.9 VR6 (ABV)

This rocker cover gasket is specifically designed for early Volkswagen VR6 engines with engine codes AAA and ABV. It fits:

  • Mk3 Golf and Vento

  • B3 and B4 Passat (AAA engine code up to engine number >>146 001)

  • Corrado VR6 (ABV engine code up to engine number >>014 000)

The rocker cover gasket seals the camshaft/valve cover to the cylinder head, preventing oil leaks and maintaining proper engine pressure. A worn or brittle gasket can lead to oil seepage, reduced engine efficiency, and contamination. This replacement gasket is precision-moulded for an exact fit and made from durable, heat-resistant rubber material to ensure a long-lasting seal even under high-temperature engine operation.

Function and Benefits:

  • Seals the valve cover to prevent oil leaks and protect against contaminants

  • Maintains proper crankcase pressure and engine cleanliness

  • Made from high-temperature resistant rubber for durability

  • Ideal for VR6 engines with early engine numbers (see below)

  • Easy installation with no modifications required
