Type 25 Gear Selector Shaft Bush - 1983-92

This gear selector shaft bush is designed for Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 Buses fitted with 4-speed manual gearboxes from August 1982 through to the end of production in July 1992. The bush supports the gear selector shaft within the gearbox linkage, helping maintain correct alignment and smooth movement during gear changes. When worn or degraded, this bush can cause excessive play, vague gear selection, or difficulty engaging gears.

Manufactured to OE-style dimensions from durable material, this bush restores precise gearshift feel and reduces unwanted movement in the selector mechanism. It is an essential replacement part during gearbox servicing, gear linkage repairs, or when curing sloppy or imprecise shifting on high-mileage vehicles.

In addition to Type 25 applications, this bush is also used across a range of VW passenger models that share the same selector shaft design, making it a widely applicable and proven component.

Key Features:

  • Supports and aligns the gear selector shaft
