Baywindow Bus Steering Column Caps

1968 – 1974 + 1975 – 1979

Located on the bottom of the steering column where it mounts to the cab floor, the lower steering column cap is not a part you’re likely to replace more than once if at all, except when doing a restoration or if you’ve purchased a new bus and it’s missing, but if you need one, we can supply them.

Available for both early and late models from the start of production in August 1967 to March 1974 and April 1974 to the end of production in 1979.

Held in place with M6 bolts that are 12mm long (Sold Separately)

Early Beetle Wiper Switch

Another top quality reproduction part from BBT, a replacement switch for the windscreen wipers on all VW Oval window beetles from October 1952 to July 1957.

Splitscreen Bus Tailgate Support Bolt

1955 – 1963

The Barndoor Splitscreen Bus came to an end in March 1955 in favour of a new model that included a separate tailgate and these new models (manufactured from March 1955 to July 1963) are commonly known now as small window Buses.

The tailgate on these buses has a support rod that slides up and down the side of the tailgate and keeps it open and this support rod is held onto the Bus with a bolt.  And Guess what… This is that bolt!

Often missing or lost in restoration this bolt could be the missing piece to your resto!
