Type 1 Fuel Pump Flange (Also Waterboxer Fuel Pump Flange)

Replacment bakelite fuel pump flange or pedastal as it is sometimes known, is located under the standard mechanical fuel pump on all 1200cc, 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc Type 1 engines fitted into all VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, Splitscreen and Baywindow Buses and all Type 3 Variants including Squareback, Notchback and Fastback models.

It is also used on VW Type 25 Buses with 1900cc waterboxer engines with carburettor.

Fitting: The original fuel pump flange can become brittle over time and can snap inside the engine. It is worth changing the flange each time you change the fuel pump.
