VDO M10x1 Oil Temperature Sender

This VDO oil temperature sender with M10 x 1 metric thread is designed to provide accurate engine oil temperature readings when used with compatible VDO oil temperature gauges. Rated to 149°C, it is ideal for classic, aircooled, and water-cooled VW engines where monitoring oil temperature is essential for engine protection and longevity.

Unlike NPT (tapered) threads, the M10 x 1 thread is a parallel metric thread. This means it does not seal on the threads themselves and must be used with a sealing washer to prevent oil leaks. This makes it particularly suitable for factory-style metric ports commonly found on Volkswagen engines, sumps, and oil galleries.
