T2 VW Splitscreen Adjustable Springplates

Note; These Springplates are for Splitties that have had a Straight axle conversion using a beetle straight axle gearbox and standard 1966 onwards VV Beetle axle tubes. Adapter plates are required to convert to the “fork” style mountings of the straight axle tubes with later bearing housings.

Adjustable spring plates are a must for Straight Axle conversions. Just try changing your rear wheel at the side of the road with standard springplates, it near impossible.

Built in 2″ drop.

Easy and quick adjustment of your rear suspension height without having to strip your whole rear end apart.
