T5,T6 Performance Foam Induction Kit - 2.0 TDI, 2.5 TDI

Upgrade the breathing of your Transporter with this Ramair induction kit designed for 2.0 TDI, 2.0 BiTDI and 2.5 TDI engines fitted to T5 and T6 models. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow synthetic nanofibre filter and performance heat shield assembly.

Please note: Not suitable for 204bhp (CXEB) or 199bhp (CXEC) engines.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system on the T5 and T6 is designed primarily for refinement and noise suppression. Internal baffles and narrow pipework restrict airflow before it reaches the turbocharger — especially noticeable on tuned vehicles or under load.

This Ramair system improves airflow by:

• Using a performance synthetic nanofibre air filter with Twin-Tangential Velocity Stack technology to smooth and accelerate incoming air

• Reducing turbulence before the turbo

• Allowing the turbo to spool more efficiently

• Removing restrictive factory airbox chambers

The included heat shield forms a physical barrier between the filter and surrounding engine bay heat, helping maintain lower intake temperatures and consistent performance.
