G7 Performance Foam Induction Kit With Turbo Elbow - 2.0 TSI (Blue Hose)

This full system to turbo performance intake kit is engineered for the EA888 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines found across the Volkswagen Group MQB platform. Unlike basic induction kits, this version includes the upgraded black powder-coated turbo elbow, delivering improved airflow directly into the turbocharger.

This version features a blue silicone intake pipe, with alternative colour options available in black or red.

What This Intake System Does

The factory intake and turbo inlet elbow are designed to reduce noise and meet emissions targets, but they can restrict airflow — particularly on tuned engines.

This Ramair full intake system improves performance by:

• Replacing the restrictive airbox with a high-flow foam filter
• Installing a smooth-bore blue silicone intake pipe
• Upgrading the OE turbo elbow to a freer-flowing design
• Reducing turbulence at the turbo inlet

The result is:

• Sharper throttle response

• Faster turbo spool

• Improved mid-range torque

How It Works

Turbocharged EA888 engines rely on smooth, unrestricted airflow to generate efficient boost. The factory turbo elbow can act as a bottleneck before the compressor housing.

By upgrading the entire intake path:

1. Air enters through a large-surface Ramair foam filter.

2. The heatshield helps minimise engine bay heat soak.

3. The smooth silicone hose reduces airflow disturbance.

4. The upgraded turbo elbow removes restriction directly at the turbo inlet.

This allows the turbo to build boost more efficiently and consistently across the rev range.

The Ramair foam filter is fully reusable and can be cleaned using maintenance kit CK-003, ensuring long-term performance.
