G7 Performance Foam Induction Kit With Turbo Elbow - 2.0 TSI (Black Hose)

This full intake system to turbo is designed for the EA888 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines used across the Volkswagen Group MQB platform. Unlike basic induction kits, this version includes the upgraded black powder-coated turbo elbow, delivering improved airflow right to the turbocharger inlet.

Alternative silicone hose colours are available in red or blue if you want to customise your engine bay appearance.

What This Intake System Does

The factory intake system is built to prioritise refinement and cost efficiency. However, the OE turbo elbow and airbox design can restrict airflow, particularly on tuned engines.

This full Ramair system improves performance by:

• Replacing the restrictive airbox with a high-flow foam filter
• Installing a smooth-bore black silicone intake pipe
• Upgrading the factory turbo inlet elbow with a higher-flow design
• Reducing turbulence and restriction directly at the turbo

The result is:

• Sharper throttle response

• Faster turbo spool

• Improved mid-range pull

• Stronger high-RPM airflow

• Noticeably enhanced induction and turbo sound

This makes it ideal for standard, Stage 1 and Stage 2 tuned vehicles.

How It Works

The EA888 turbocharged engine depends on unrestricted airflow to generate efficient boost. The factory turbo elbow often creates a bottleneck before the compressor housing.

By upgrading the system all the way to the turbo:

1. Air enters through a large-surface Ramair foam filter.

2. The black silicone hose maintains smooth, unrestricted airflow.

3. The upgraded turbo elbow removes the OE restriction at the turbo inlet.

4. Boost builds more efficiently with improved airflow consistency.

The included black powder-coated heatshield helps isolate the filter from engine bay heat, supporting cooler intake air temperatures under load.

The foam filter is fully reusable and easily cleaned using CK-003 filter maintenance kit, making this a long-term performance upgrade.
