G5,G6 Performance Foam Induction Kit - TDI (Black Hose)

This 80mm Performance Foam Induction Kit with black silicone inlet pipe is designed for VW Group vehicles fitted with 1.6, 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines. Replacing the restrictive factory airbox, it improves airflow into the turbocharger for sharper throttle response and enhanced induction sound.

What It Does & How It Works

The factory intake system is designed for noise suppression and emissions compliance. On tuned or higher mileage TDI engines, airflow restriction can limit turbo efficiency.

This kit replaces the OE airbox with a high-flow Ramair foam filter and smooth 80mm black silicone inlet pipe. The larger internal diameter and reduced turbulence allow the turbo to draw air more efficiently, improving spool response and mid-range torque delivery.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the filter from engine bay heat, maintaining more consistent intake air temperatures — particularly beneficial on remapped engines.
