**NCA** Splitscreen Bus Deluxe IRS Conversion Kit - With Adjustable Spring Plates (Using Beetle Setup)

This IRS rear stub axle is a direct-fit replacement for all VW 1302 and 1303 Beetles, as well as any Splitscreen Bus that has been converted to the IRS rear axle setup from these later models. Designed to OE specification, this stub axle provides the correct spline, bearing surfaces and mounting geometry required for smooth, reliable operation of the IRS rear hub assembly.

The stub axle forms a crucial part of the independent rear suspension system, supporting the rear wheel, transmitting drive from the CV joint, and maintaining proper bearing alignment. Worn or damaged stub axles can cause bearing noise, vibration, excessive play, and even hub misalignment. Replacing a tired or corroded stub axle restores safe and precise rear suspension and drivetrain function.

Machined to high standards, this unit is suitable for stock restorations, IRS conversions, off-road builds, and performance applications where correct IRS geometry must be retained.

This trailing arm is for use with the twin plate spring plates which were originally found on IRS Beetles until mid 1971. They were also installed on Karmann Ghia`s and Type 3 variants

Although these are officially twin plate models we have found that using the later single plate spring plates can also be used without issue, so these could be used on later 1303 models and IRS conversions on Splitscreen Buses

Brackets for mounting the A-Arms onto the rear axle of a Splitscreen Bus when installing an IRS conversion.

Please note these brackets will only work with Transporterhaus spring plates or Bus Boy Spring Plates.

Spacers required when installing an IRS or Swing Axle Conversion onto a Splitscreen Bus to take up the slack of the conduit on the handbrake cable to the backing plates.

These tubes fit on the conduit closest to the front of the van where the cable/conduit enters the chassis.

The return spring on each cable needs to be cut down by roughly the same length of the spacer. 

You may need to take a little material off the threaded section on the cable itself if it does not fit through the tube extender.

This allows you to install 1964 to 1967 Splitscreen Bus handbrake cables.

Set of replacement rear A-Arm bushes for use on all 1302 and 1303 Beetles plus Karmann Ghia`s and Type 3 Variants fitted with IRS suspension.

These bushes are manufactured from poly urethane  which is an upgraded material from the original rubber units.

Poly Urethane will not deteriate like rubber but do tend to give a slightly harsher ride quality to the rubber versions.

Sold in a set of 4 bushes to replace the bushes in both rear trailing arms.
