CSP Porsche Cooling Conversion Kit - Epoxy - Type 1 Engines

You can give any Type-1 engine that Porsche 911 look with this CSP Products Porsche-style cooling system, no matter if it is in a VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia (Type-14), Type-2 Bus (Split Screen or Bay Window) or Thing (Type-181)

The kit is very easy to install, no modifications or machining on the engine case are necessary. You just disassemble the old fan shroud, generator and generator stand, bolt the new parts on and that`s it

You can even use it with early Beetles, as the 240 mm fan doesn`t interfere with the lid

The set includes an epoxy or optional carbon fan shroud, a fan ring, a 240 mm alternator/fan unit, a stainless steel strap for the fan, an alternator stand, and an oil filler with breather fitting. And it comes of course with all necessary mounting hardware

Please note that a crankshaft pulley with 146 mm diameter (Power-Pulley) is required for this cooling system

These Pulleys are available separately in different styles.

The carbon fibre version is a weight-optimised motorsport part without surface finishing. It can show air bubbles due to the production method. There may be adjustment work necessary like with all glass fibre parts

PLEASE NOTE: The cooling system requires a remote oil cooler, special crank pulley, fan belt and throttle linkage kit.  All of these parts are sold separately
