This high-quality replacement drag link is designed for all Volkswagen Splitscreen Buses from 1955 to 1967, restoring precise and safe steering response on vehicles where the original linkage has worn or developed excess play. At 510mm long, this drag link matches the factory specification and installs directly in place of the original unit without modification.

The drag link forms a critical connection in the steering system, linking the pitman arm on the steering box to the steering arm on the front axle. As these joints wear over time, especially on older steering systems, the result can be vague steering, wandering, clunks, or excessive free play in the steering wheel. Replacing the drag link is one of the most effective ways to restore accuracy and stability to the steering on classic Splitscreen Buses.

Built with reinforced housings and correctly tensioned ball joints, this replacement unit ensures smooth articulation and correct steering geometry.
