Splitscreen Bus Urethane Beam Bush Kit - 1955-63

As part of our expanding urethane bush range, Cool Air is proud to offer this urethane front beam bush kit designed specifically for early VW Splitscreen Buses. This kit provides a reliable, long-lasting replacement for the original needle bearings typically found inside the front beam of these classic vehicles.

Over time, needle bearings in the front beam wear out, leading to sloppy steering, increased play, and reduced ride quality. This urethane bushing kit eliminates that problem by providing a more durable and maintenance-free solution. Unlike traditional metal bearings, urethane absorbs vibration while offering smoother suspension movement and improved longevity—especially under the stresses of daily driving or lowered suspension setups.

The bushes feature an internal diameter of 44mm and an external diameter of 53mm, matching early front beam specifications. Each set contains everything needed to replace both inner bearings, allowing you to completely rebuild one front beam.
