Beetle Wiring Cover - 1968-79 (Not for 1200cc, 1302 or 1303 Models)

This plastic moulded wiring cover is designed to tidy up the under-bonnet area on Beetles from 1968–1979 (excluding 1200cc, 1302 and 1303 models). Over time, the wiring loom behind the dash often becomes messy, exposed, or visually untidy—particularly after electrical repairs or accessory installations. This cover neatly conceals the wiring that runs behind the dashboard and across the inner bonnet area, restoring the clean, original look of the front luggage compartment.

Shaped specifically for models equipped with the under-bonnet fresh-air box, the cover features a dedicated cut-out that clears the air box housing without interference. Once installed, it creates a much more organised front boot area, perfect for restorations, show-quality builds, or simply owners wanting a smarter factory-style finish.

The cover is lightweight, durable, and can be easily painted if you want to customise the look or colour-match it to your Beetle’s interior or bodywork. Some trimming may be required for exact fitment, and you may also need to drill fixing holes at the bottom edge depending on the model year or previous modifications to your car.
