Beetle Grant Steering Wheel Boss - 1960-73

This standard Grant Steering Wheel Boss Kit allows you to install any Grant Classic Series, Challenger Series, or Signature Series steering wheel onto VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias and Type 3 models built from 1960 to 1973. Designed specifically to match the 23mm steering column spline, this boss provides a secure, accurate fit and ensures smooth connection between your aftermarket wheel and the original steering column.
The kit includes a strong die-cast hub, high-quality grade 5 hardware, and matte black trim pieces for a clean and professional finish once installed. Also included is a chrome horn button featuring a recessed design that can be used with or without EMPI branding—three interchangeable EMPI logo inserts are supplied so you can match the look to your interior style.
Each kit comes with step-by-step instructions, making installation straightforward for both home mechanics and workshop fitting. This boss kit does not include the nut that attaches the hub to the steering column; you must reuse the original factory nut during installation.
