EMPI Mega Dual Racing Cannon Baffle (85mm X 485mm)

Replacement exhaust baffle for EMPI Megadual chrome cannon exhaust systems fitted to aircooled Volkswagen engines. Designed to fit inside the chrome cannon tailpipe sections, these removable baffles help reduce exhaust noise levels while maintaining the classic Megadual exhaust appearance and performance sound.

Manufactured for use with EMPI chrome cannon systems, these baffles are supplied extra-long at 485mm and can be shortened to approximately 435mm if required to suit specific exhaust setups or desired sound levels. Ideal for replacing worn, damaged or missing inserts on older Megadual systems.

The internal baffle helps control exhaust tone and back pressure by reducing the harsh open-pipe sound commonly associated with missing inserts. Depending on installation and length used, these can provide a deeper, more controlled exhaust note while still retaining the classic sporty aircooled VW sound.

These inserts are designed to be secured in place using a screw, bolt or spot weld depending on your preferred installation method.
