These headers feature 1 3/8″ tubing with small 3 bolt muffler flange.
The header on these systems is off-set and not centred.
Fits all 1300cc to 1600cc based Type 3 engines.
Designed to be installed on the VW Type 3 Variant with a special header which clears the engine fan house and has the correct angle to line up with the rear bodywork.
NOTE: EMPI Headers and Mufflers are coated with a layer of paint which acts as a rust inhibitor and may burn off once they get hot. It is best to clean off the coating with a good solvent then paint the system with quality hi-temp paint. Systems are not warranted against rust.
