Baywindow Bus EMPI Twin Quiet Pack Exhaust System - Type 4 Engines

Performance EMPI Twin Quiet Pack exhaust system designed to fit Volkswagen Type 4 powered Baywindow buses and early aircooled T25/T3 models. This tuned exhaust system improves exhaust flow and engine breathing while giving your bus a classic twin tailpipe performance appearance and a deeper sporty exhaust note.

Manufactured with 1½” tubing and large 3-bolt flanges, this system is designed for 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc Type 4 engines. The free-flowing header and twin silencer design help reduce back pressure compared to restrictive original exhaust systems, improving throttle response and overall performance.

This system is supplied with exhaust gaskets and fitting hardware for installation. Early aircooled T25/T3 models may require minor rear valance or rear panel modification for clearance depending on vehicle specification.

EMPI exhaust systems are supplied with a protective transport coating which acts as a rust inhibitor during shipping and storage. This coating will burn off once hot, so we strongly recommend removing it and repainting the exhaust using a quality high-temperature exhaust paint before installation to maximise service life.
