Baywindow Bus EMPI Single Quiet Pack Exhaust System - Type 4 Engines

EMPI Single Quiet Pack exhaust system designed for Volkswagen Type 4 powered Baywindow buses and early aircooled Type 25/T3 models. Suitable for 1700cc, 1800cc, and 2000cc Type 4 engines, this performance-style exhaust offers improved exhaust flow, reduced back pressure, and the classic deep Quiet Pack exhaust tone.

The Quiet Pack design uses an oval-shaped silencer containing perforated internal tubes which provide excellent sound absorption while maintaining good exhaust gas flow. Compared to restrictive stock exhaust systems, the Quiet Pack layout helps improve engine breathing and throttle response while still keeping noise levels more controlled than many open performance exhausts.

Finished with a black tailpipe, this EMPI exhaust system is ideal for standard and mildly tuned Type 4 engines used in Baywindow buses, campers, and custom T25 projects.

This system can also be fitted to early Type 25/T3 aircooled models and early Wasserboxer powered T25 models up to 1985, although minor modification to the rear panel area may be required depending on installation and engine configuration.

Supplied complete with exhaust gaskets and fitting hardware.

Please note EMPI exhaust systems are supplied with a temporary protective transport coating which will burn off during initial heat cycles. For best long-term protection it is recommended to remove the coating using solvent and repaint the exhaust using high quality high-temperature exhaust paint before installation.

These systems are not warranted against surface rust.
