Black Single Port Head Shroud Kit (Not 1200cc)

This pair of black cylinder head covers is designed as a direct replacement for the original head shrouds fitted to all single port air-cooled Volkswagen engines, with the exception of 1200cc models. These covers form a vital part of the engine’s cooling tinware system, directing airflow from the fan housing across the cylinder heads to maintain correct operating temperature and prevent overheating.

Manufactured to the original shape and profile, these covers provide a proper fit on single port engines used in Beetles, Splitscreen Buses and Baywindow models. Although not intended for 1200cc engines, they can be modified to fit with some minor cutting and bending of the tinware—ideal for owners who are restoring engines where original parts are no longer available.

Supplied in a neutral packing paint to prevent corrosion during transit, the surface is intended as a base only. For a long-lasting and durable finish, we recommend painting or powder-coating the covers before installation.
