EMPI Oil Breather Kit

This EMPI crankcase breather box kit is designed to help manage and relieve excess crankcase pressure in aircooled VW engines, ensuring smoother operation and reducing the risk of oil leaks or blow-by. Ideal for stock and performance builds alike, this system allows the engine to vent internally without spillage or oil loss, promoting better crankcase ventilation and longevity of seals and gaskets.

The breather box features a washable foam filter insert inside, making servicing simple and mess-free. The box is topped with a lid proudly embossed with the EMPI logo, a trusted name in VW performance parts. The kit includes everything needed for installation:

  • Breather box

  • Hoses

  • Fittings and connections

This system is compatible with all aircooled VW engines, including upright and pancake-style engines found in Beetles, Buses, Ghias, Type 3s, and off-road builds.
