Engle W100 Camshaft - Type 1 Engines

The Engle W100 performance camshaft is one of the most popular and proven camshaft upgrades for VW Type 1 aircooled engines ranging from 1200cc to 1600cc, making it an excellent choice for fast-road and street-driven engines. Designed to deliver a smooth, usable power increase without sacrificing reliability or drivability, the W100 is ideal for small-displacement performance builds.

This camshaft provides improved valve timing over stock, increasing airflow through the engine and enhancing torque and mid-range power. Important Fitment Notes

• These camshafts require an early-style 3-bolt cam gear

• Compatible with up to 1971-style oil pumps only

• Camshaft supplied on its own – cam gear is not included

• A suitable 3-bolt cam gear must be purchased separately (see associated products)
