Engle Single Valve Springs - Type 1 Engines

This heavy duty single valve spring set from ENGLE is designed to provide reliable valve control on all VW Type 1 aircooled engines, making it an excellent upgrade for both standard rebuilds and mild performance applications. Compared to standard valve springs, these ENGLE single springs offer increased seat and open pressure, helping to prevent valve float and maintain accurate valve timing, especially at higher engine speeds.

Manufactured to ENGLE’s exacting standards, these springs are engineered for consistency, durability, and long service life. They are ideally suited for use with performance camshafts, upgraded valve train components, or engines that regularly see higher RPM than stock. Despite their increased strength, they remain compatible with single spring configurations, making them a straightforward upgrade without the complexity of dual spring setups.

These heavy duty single valve springs work well with standard or chromoly valve retainers and are commonly used in fast-road engines where reliability and improved control are essential.
