Alternator Stand (Also Dynamo Stand) - Type 1 Engines - 12 Volt

This standard replacement aluminium alternator or dynamo stand is a high-quality reproduction designed for use with Type 1 VW aircooled engines from 1200cc to 1600cc. Whether you`re restoring a classic VW or upgrading from a dynamo to an alternator, this universal-fit stand is engineered to support either type.

Crafted from durable cast aluminium, this stand is a direct fit for most classic VW applications and accepts both standard 105mm diameter dynamos and later-style alternators. Ideal for Beetles, Buses, Ghias, and other Type 1-based models running carburetted engines.

Please note: This stand is not compatible with Brazilian Baywindow models fitted with fuel injection, due to differences in engine configuration and intake systems.
