Get clean ignition and eliminate unwanted radio interference with this premium EMPI suppression core HT lead set, made specifically for early VW Type 3 models – including Notchback, Squareback, and Fastback – built from 1961 to 1967.
Featuring 1 kΩ resistance, these suppression core wires reduce electrical noise without sacrificing spark energy. The set includes four spark plug leads and one shorter coil lead, designed for excellent performance, durability, and conductivity.
Please note:
These HT leads are intended for use with early low-profile distributors. They are not suitable for 1967 and 1968 models equipped with taller distributors, as this set does not include the 90-degree ends required to clear the engine lid. Using straight ends in these applications may cause the leads to foul on the engine bay.
