T4 Clutch Master Cylinder - 1998-03

This is a high-quality replacement clutch master cylinder for all Volkswagen Transporter T4 Buses from May 1998 onwards. It is also the correct fitment for all TDI-powered T4s from the start of production, as well as models fitted with the 2.8-litre AES petrol engine.

The clutch master cylinder plays a vital role in the hydraulic clutch system by transferring pedal pressure to the clutch slave cylinder, enabling smooth gear changes. Over time, seals within the master cylinder can degrade, leading to fluid leaks, spongy pedal feel, or difficulty disengaging the clutch. This direct replacement restores original hydraulic pressure and pedal response.
