T4 Gear Shifter Lower Pivot Bush

This replacement lower pivot bush is designed for the gear stick assembly on all VW T4 Transporter Buses, covering the full production run from 1990 to 2003. It provides essential support and smooth pivoting motion for the base of the gear stick, helping to ensure precise and responsive gear shifts.

Manufactured from durable materials to resist wear and play over time, this bush slots into the lower section of the gearstick mechanism where it interfaces with the shift rod. Over time, the original bushings can wear down, causing vague or loose gear shifting—replacing them restores shift accuracy and driving feel.

Installation Tip:
Each bus requires two bushes—one on each side of the pivot. Sold individually, so be sure to order two per vehicle.
