It is a direct replacement for condensers fitted to the Bosch 111 905 205L distributor, commonly used in VW Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and early Type 4 models from 1970 to 1972.
The condenser plays a crucial role in the ignition system, working in conjunction with the contact breaker points to reduce arcing and ensure reliable spark generation.
