Beetle Front Valance Hole Cover Kit - 1968-79
Part Number: 311821335A
This front valance cover plate kit is designed to fill the shift rod access hole in the front valance of all VW Beetles from August 1967 onwards.
The hole in the valance allows the shift rod to be removed from the chassis tunnel during gearbox servicing or replacement. Without a properly fitted cover plate, this opening leaves the front valance vulnerable to water, dirt, and road debris, which can accelerate corrosion and spoil the clean look of your Beetle’s front end.
This 2-piece plug kit is made to fit original German front valances only—it will not fit aftermarket replacement valances, as those typically have a larger hole size.
