Type 25 Handbrake Cable (Not Syncro)

This replacement handbrake cable is designed to fit all Volkswagen Type 25 (T3) Buses from 1979 to 1992, excluding Syncro 4WD models. Measuring 1473mm in length, this cable connects the handbrake balance bar to the rear brake assembly, ensuring reliable parking brake operation on both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles.

Engineered to OEM specifications, this cable provides smooth, consistent tension and is built to withstand years of use. It is not handed, meaning the same part can be used on either side of the vehicle, simplifying installation and stocking.

Note: Two cables are required per vehicle—one for each rear wheel. If your handbrake is no longer holding properly or shows signs of fraying or stretching, replacing both cables is recommended to restore full function and safety.
