Type 25 Front Upper Track Control Arm Bolt

This replacement upper control arm bolt is designed for the front suspension of all VW Type 25 (T3) Transporter models from 1979 to 1992. It secures the upper wishbone (control arm) to the chassis and is a critical component in maintaining correct suspension geometry, camber adjustment, and stable front-end handling.

As these bolts age, they can become corroded, weakened, or seized in place due to exposure to road grime and moisture. Replacing them ensures safe and accurate movement of the upper control arm and allows the suspension to be correctly aligned—essential for tyre life, steering response, and overall vehicle stability.

Each bolt is sold individually, with one required per side. When installing this bolt on earlier Type 25 models up to chassis number 24-C-117944, you must also use the later-style eccentric camber adjustment washers (part number 251407133A, two required per bolt). These washers allow proper camber adjustment when upgrading to the later bolt design.

This bolt is a direct-fit replacement for all late models and a necessary upgrade when fitting later suspension components to early chassis versions.
