Type 25 Heater Matrix Return Pipe

This coolant return hose connects the heater matrix to the coolant connector on all Volkswagen Type 25 (T3) Buses fitted with 1.9 and 2.1 Waterboxer petrol engines and 1600cc Diesel engines with CS engine codes.

Located under the dashboard at the heater matrix end, this hose forms part of the front heating circuit, returning coolant from the heater core back into the main cooling system. Over time, these hoses can become brittle or cracked due to constant exposure to heat and coolant pressure—leading to leaks or reduced heater performance.

This replacement hose is manufactured from high-quality, heat-resistant rubber and moulded to the correct shape for a perfect fit in the tight confines beneath the dash. It restores proper coolant flow through the heater system, ensuring efficient cabin heating and reliable cooling performance.
