Splitscreen Bus Clutch And Brake Pedal - 1955-67

This replacement pedal is a high-quality reproduction for Volkswagen Splitscreen Buses manufactured between March 1955 and July 1967. Designed to match the original factory profile, thickness and pedal pad angle, this component restores the correct operation and appearance of heavily worn or damaged pedal assemblies.

On Left Hand Drive (LHD) Splitscreen models, this pedal is used for both the clutch pedal and the brake pedal, as both sides share the same pedal design. On Right Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles, it is used for the clutch pedal only, as RHD brake pedals use a different offset and pushrod geometry unique to those models.

Over time, original pedals can become thin, bent, cracked or pitted due to constant foot pressure, moisture and corrosion. Replacing the pedal ensures smoother operation, improves safety and helps preserve correct linkage alignment—especially important on restored or daily-driven vehicles.
